Meet Our Team.
We are a small team that is striving to make a HUGE difference in the local community.
We are all passionate about inclusion and creating new opportunities for all!
Skills4Living has a small Board of Trustees, who are equally passionate about the organisation and what it offers.

Hi, I have worked at Skills4living since 2004.
I am currently the coordinator which means I work closely with our volunteers and develop our programs and projects. I am halfway through completing my Bachelor of Social Work degree.
I was born and raised in Levin and my hobbies include sewing and crafts.

Hello!
I am a Registered Social Worker and facilitator here at Skills4living.
Originally from Paraparaumu, my family and I moved to Levin a few years ago.
I hold a Bachelor of Social Work, and I enjoyed being a stay-at-home mum for 4 years before returning to the workforce at Skills4Living in 2022.
I am a mother to 3 boys, and they keep me very busy. I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, crafting and love animals.

I have a legal background with over 10 years’ experience in financial services dispute resolution, both in Melbourne and Wellington. I in 2017 I moved to Levin and soon found that I love the inclusive community, local beaches and experiencing all the local events the area offers.
I have previously volunteered with various social justice “not-for-profit” organisations, but now I am excited to have joined Skills4Living as a Trustee in late 2022.

I have been on the board at Skills4Living for a number of years now (I can't remember exactly how many!)
My professional background includes management in the social service sector and 3 terms as an elected member of the Horowhenua District Council.
I am a passionate advocate for building an inclusive society and for doing no harm in the delivery of social service and support.
I am a keen gardener and walker. I have a love for learning and a belief that we are life long learners. Having the opportunity to be spontaneous is also important to me and it’s the little things that matter such as the thrill of a swim in the ocean and that delicious moment of shock as the cold crisp sea water embraces you.
