Meet Our Team.
We are a small team that is striving to make a HUGE difference in the local community.
We are all passionate about inclusion and creating new opportunities for all!

Skills4Living has a small Board of Trustees, who are equally passionate about the organisation and what it offers.

Hi, I have worked at Skills4living since 2004.
I am currently the coordinator which means I work closely with our volunteers and develop our programs and projects. I am halfway through completing my Bachelor of Social Work degree.
I was born and raised in Levin and my hobbies include sewing and crafts.
Kia ora, I am the manager here at Skills4Living.
I am a registered social worker who has been living in New Zealand since 2018. I am originally from the UK and fell in love with Aotearoa when I visited for the first time nearly 20 years ago.
My hobbies include baking, sugarcraft, crochet and gardening. I also love animals and have 3 dogs that came with us from the UK, a cat called Bo and 4 sheep
I have worked for Skills4Living since 2000 when it was known as Horowhenua SuperGrans. I managed the organisation until 2016, when I decided to concentrate on my parent educator role. I now manage and facilitate the Incredible Years Parenting Programme as well as working alongside individual parents/caregivers.
I have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren.
I enjoy living at the beach, walking my dog, and spending time in my old but trusty campervan cruising Aotearoa visiting friends, relatives, and beautiful places.
