Empowering individuals, families and communities with practical life skills
Welcome
At Skills4Living, we empower individuals, famlies and communities with practical life skills that build confidence, independence, and opportunity. Through programmes and support, we help people develop the tools they need to thrive in everyday life, achieve their goals, and create brighter futures for themselves and their families.
ALL ABOUT US
We are Horowhenua SuperGrans, trading as Skills4Living.
Our story began in 1997, when the Horowhenua branch of SuperGrans opened to meet a simple but important need: helping younger people learn essential life skills from the experienced older people in their community.

Today, we're a registered charity guided by a passionate Board of Trustees, offering inclusive programmes that are open and accessible to people from every background.
We work with individuals in their own homes, and with groups through our themed programmes and clubs — creating a rewarding, engaging experience for everyone we support.

Our service is for anyone who has left school, and is available across Levin, Otaki, Shannon, Foxton, and the rural areas in between. Our office is based in Levin.
At the heart of it, we help people learn — and put into practice — the life skills that make a real difference to their own and their families' wellbeing.
